Forms, DOJ and Change

Together we can navigate industry changes with education, strong leadership, and a commitment to our clients' best interests.

Rethink, Revise, Renew is not just a slogan for a campaign. It is what we all must do to survive in a changing industry landscape.

But exactly what can we do?

I strongly believe we must educate ourselves and our colleagues about the "NEW" way our business is changing. No one LIKES change, but change is constant!

Just like we all did during the pandemic, we adapted to a new environment and we used our political strength to insure that our industry was deemed "critical" to the economy. We are all in the same boat! While the changes to our industry are the result of litigation, they affect all of us.

As Vice Chair of Standard Forms, I have taught classes on the forms changes and our members are hungry for information! I had one ZOOM class this Spring that had over 3000 REALTORS® signing on the understand what is happening in our business.

As your next TREASURER, I will prioritize our members’ ability to get the correct information about new changes to our practice in real time. The DOJ and CAR are in ongoing discussions. We must be strong in those discussions and ensure that our value proposition as REALTORS® serves our clients far better than it serves just us.

The California Association of REALTORS® has always been a LEADER in our industry. IN THIS MOMENT, I believe we can demonstrate that Leadership once again, but not without your help!

Please visit my campaign website at www.Nikki4CAR.com/about to learn more about my platform and vision for CAR. I welcome your feedback, questions, and support as we embark on this journey together.

IN THIS MOMENT, we can redefine the future of organized real estate in California. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to earning your trust and support.

Best regards,

Nikki Coppa, Candidate for C.A.R. Treasurer 2026-2027
